Ethics and Transparency

As a Community Interest Company we aim to listen to the wishes and concerns of our Community whilst getting the job done. One of the challenges for any public body is that you tend to come under a great deal of scrutiny for everything that you do. In truth this has been the downfall of many government and public servants. We want to head all possible criticism here off at the pass. With our Greentank, A Team and Board we have plenty of advice and guidance on hand to ensure we stay on track. Their job is to be another level of our social conscience to ensure that we do have a clear vision of the way in which we should behave.

We have a set of ethical guidelines which define things like expenses, pay, vested interests, ways in which we conduct ourselves and the various reporting procedures to ensure that we do not fall foul of things that have dogged other organizations in the past.

We will also be very transparent in that we will publish an annual report every year, sent to our members by email wherever possible and posted on our website for others to read.
