As some of you may or not be aware we have had a very special delivery at the hub recently. Encased in a 95% recyclable package, the electric motor that powers these electric cars is hidden, silent and smooth.

The cars were delivered from France, from a company called Mia Electric months ahead of their general UK release in September. Two models were delivered: the van and the car. The Van is a two-seated vehicle to allow for optimum boot capacity. It has a floor to ceiling rear window, ensuring great visibility. The car has three seats and a smaller boot. Each vehicle has only one seat in the front, which gives a nice central position - once you find yourself adjusted its a great place to be.

The Mias take 5 hours to charge up completely, but can also be drip charged (so 5 minutes charge is 8 miles) and the full range is around 80 miles - though we have noticed this take a hit when you take the cars up hills!

The Mias will be loaned out - so if you’re interested in having a go, then please contact us.

If there’s anything else you’d like to know then please feel free to contact us at the hub! .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Let us know what you think of electric cars!
