A CHANGE OF HEART

I know ... I know ... my Christmas BLOG might have driven you to he nearest bar to order an INTERGALACTIC GARGLE BLASTER to watch ( with the silver fish in the ear ) the much anticipated end of the Universe ... BUT that was not my intention. I was simply venting as a result of what had been a very difficult and challenging year. I felt I had spent a great deal of my time telling truths of utmost import to a world that didn't seem to be interested or to care. I felt, to coin a biblical analogy, like John in the Wilderness calling for change which never came. HOWEVER I was wrong to let that spill over into my daily BLOG ... there is no need for me to "download" my frustrations and sometimes despair at our inability to listen to the signs and the pleas of our Mother Earth - but instead I see it as time to offer encouragements and exhortations. As part of my New Year's Resolution to myself I have determined to be more UPBEAT, to focus on the POSITIVE and the HOPE that we seen as the light at the end of the tunnel and less on the sight of the oncoming train. We don't need to be motivated by fear or guilt - we need to be driven by HOPE and DESIRE for a BRIGHTER GREENER WORLD ... like the GREEN LANTERN corps we need to be looking forward to a time when Earths future is more secure and when more of us have made the necessary shift in consciousness to bring about a new golden age in the History of Humanity. I may be subsequently criticised for being to cheerful and / or making light of the seriousness of the situation but as the great cosmic joke is not lost on me and I can see the UPSIDE of the changes that are to come I have decided to take the stance of ETERNAL OPTIMISM measured with a degree of pragmatism and realism as we deal with the challenges of the day. I hope you will join me ( as the energies of the New Year surface ) in wishing Humanity well on its journey and adding your shoulder to the wheel of the changes that are required. I do not believe this shift of emphasis will result in any less effort or focus on my part just an ongoing acceptance of what is actually achievable with a compassion for the human spirit and our ability to triumph in adversity. We will of course prevail - we always do but the challenges of the future will expect the VERY BEST of us and we really MUST DELIVER. Onwards and upwards for a BRIGHT GREEN NEW YEAR
